Koco Tenille Natural Soy Candles are made from 100% soy wax with cotton wicks making them a safe & healthy choice; unlike paraffin wax candles soy candles are non-carcinogenic & much safer for your environment. As Soy wax is a natural product it will sometimes change in appearance.  This does not effect the candles performance, it is only the wax trying to return to its natural form.  Warm/hot weather will also effect the wax as soy is a very soft wax that melts easily.

Store candles in a cool location

The initial burning of a soy wax candle is the most important of all as soy has a memory which affects the life of the candle.  Once your candle has been lit make sure that the entire surface has completely melted into a wax pool prior to extinguishing, this will prevent a smaller centre ring being the only part of the candle to burn in the future.

  • Trim the wick to approx. 5mm between each burn; this will also assist in the candle burning well.

  • Be sure to read the warning label on the candle and adhere to these instructions for your safety.

  • Never burn a candle for longer than a 4 hour period at any time.

  • Extinguish candle using a candle snuffer for safe flame handling.

  • Do not use the candle lid to extinguish the candle.  Only use the lid for dust protection when the candle isn't lit.

  • Do not burn lower than 5mm from the bottom of the jar.

At the end of your candles life simply wash the jar with warm soapy water and reuse for whatever purpose you see fit or see the instructions below should you wish to have your candle vessel refilled.
